Meet The Project Team
Jeffrey Lim
PROJECT COORDINATOR
Jeffrey Lim is currently a photography & cultural artist. He is a communication designer by training, and has been actively involved in cycling & accessibility advocacy. His artistic expression stems from his engagement in social art projects using cultural mapping, performative installation and photography.
As an artist, Jeff considers himself more as a cultural narrator, engaging with communities, utilising forms of conceptual representation with imagery, found-object, and space. His recent work with Kanta Portraits has seen him travel between Malaysia and Taiwan in a social exchange with indigenous communities. Exploring the concepts of identities and the nation state.

Suet Fun is a full-time writer and author of eighteen books of non-fiction o and poetry. Her most recent books are “Beguiled On Larut Hills” and “The Bario Journals – Lem Ayu Ulun”. Her books also include commissioned works for Forest Research Institute of Malaysia, UNDP Malaysia, CIMB and the Malaysian Ministry of Women’s Affairs, Community and Family.
She began her career as an advertising copywriter, eventually moving into public relations consulting. It was in 2005, at the age of 45, that she eventually became a full-time author, realising a quiet ambition she had harboured all her life.
The demise of her beloved mother, the understanding that much of what we are is a choice and the knowledge that the window of opportunity is transient were some of the reasons that moved her to make this life-changing decision.
